Electronic Screening and Selection

Contexxa's exclusive web-based InterviewConnect!™ Electronic Screening and Selection (ESS) system delivers a breakthrough solution to any Government agency seeking to improve the quality and cost efficiency of the candidate screening and selection process. The InterviewConnect! ESS system enables the Government hiring authority to conduct virtual interviews, complete with text questions and streaming media, with a candidate located virtually anywhere in the world.

The system captures the candidate's responses, both in text and in streaming media, as he or she responds to the interview questions in real-time. The resulting data files, representing the totality of the candidate's response to the interview, are uploaded to the server and can be accessed by any authorized user in the agency.

InterviewConnect!™ allows the interviewing agency to improve both the transactional quality and the cost effectiveness of candidate screening and selection process.


Contexxa's InterviewConnect!™ ESS system provides the complete suite of tools needed to create, present, capture, review, and compare electronic interviews. The ESS application suite implements an enterprise-enabled streaming media architecture utilizing Microsoft's industry-standard MediaPlayer middleware components. This results in an advanced virtual interview system that can be implemented on any platform running the Windows operating system.

Interpersonal Skills Enhancement

Contexxa's InterviewConnect!TM ISE solution can be custom tailored to meet the implementation requirements of any Government agency. The core ISE technology can be delivered as a "shrinkwrapped" application or can be easily integrated into the agency's existing training and development systems. The ISE solution can be implemented over the Web, in a client/server environment, or deployed to stand-alone platforms in dispersed locations. Existing media content can be re-purposed for use within the ISE system, or new content be can created to meet the demands of any training or development scenario.

Automated Outplacement Systems

Contexxa Corporation is a leader in the development of automated systems which deliver Outplacement Training, Management, and Reporting services.

From 1994 to 2001, the Company, working in partnership with Litton-PRC, led the design and development effort for the Army's Career Alumni Program (ACAP) automation project. This project, known as the "ACAP XXI System", is currently used to deliver training, management, and reporting services to transitioning service members and their families at Army career transition centers located throughout the world.
The goal of the ACAP XXI initiative was to transform an existing, manually administered transition program into a comprehensive automated system, featuring interactive training modules, a client/server based Learning Management System, and a Web-based reporting site. WBT principals worked closely with senior officials of the Army's Personnel Command (PERSCOM) throughout the development lifecycle of the ACAP XXI project to achieve this goal.


The innovative automated outplacement systems developed by Contexxa are used by the Department of the Army to deliver high quality, cost-effective outplacement services to clients located throughout the world. Our automated outplacement systems deliver interactive training content, manages the users, and generates detailed reporting for all career transition activities.

The ACAP XXI System, developed by WBT for the Department of the Army, is currently in use at 44 career transition centers located throughout the world.
