ESS Components

The InterviewConnect! Electronic Screening and Selection system is deployed as an enterprise enabled, Web-based software solution that can be accessed and used from anywhere within the organization. The core components of the ESS solution include the following modules:
  • Interview Creation Module

  • Interview Review & Evaluation Module

The Interview Creation Module is used to create the electronic interview which is presented to the prospective job candidate. The Interview Creation Module uses a simple, Web-based "point and click" interface to build the electronic interview from a series of text-based and streaming media questions. Once the interview is built and approved, it can be presented, via the Internet, to a candidate located anywhere in the world.





Interviews are built using a simple, Web-based, "point-and-click" interface. Interview questions can be selected from a pre-defined library or created on the spot.

The Interview Presentation Module is used to present the electronic interview to the prospective candidate and capture the results. This is accomplished through a simple, easy to use Web-based interface. The candidate’s responses to the interview questions are captured in full motion digital video files, which are then uploaded to the ESS server. Once the candidate’s responses have been uploaded, they can be viewed by any authorized user in the organization.


Once the candidate’s responses have been uploaded to the server, any authorized ESS user can view them, using the Internet and a Web browser.



The Interview Review and Evaluation Module is used to review the results of the interview and evaluate the candidate. The reviewer uses the simple, Web-based interface to review the candidate’s interview responses, view the resume, make notes, and/or record an evaluation. In addition, the reviewer can use this module to refer the entire interview, including the candidate's responses, to anyone with a valid e-mail address.

The System Administration Module is used to manage and optimize the ESS system. The comprehensive tools included in this module allow the system administrator to perform these important tasks with a minimum time requirement.

Ease of Implementation

The ESS system architecture has been designed from the "ground up" to facilitate data integration and functional inter-operability with our customer’s existing HR automation systems. This means that the ESS solution can be quickly and efficiently integrated into the customer’s existing HR business processes.
